In this post, you will learn what is a website from various points of view. I believe that those who read this post will never say, they don’t know what is a website or they can’t explain what is a website. All the points are revealed in this post what is the website.  And I am doing my best to make it as easy as possible so that almost all can understand what is website.

The website is created for people to access, get and share data and information through the world wide web. Website in itself is a business. The website in itself is a business platform for the business to get new customers or retain 1st-time buyers. It is the online presence of the person and business. There are billions of websites. Anyone can create a website to explore new business, income, and career development opportunities.

What is a Website?

1. Technical explanation of the website:

A website is a group of one or more linked web pages that run on a web browser from a hosting server through a specific domain name.

The domain is an address of a website like a phone number. Each website has its unique domain name such as klientsolutech.com.

A web browser is an application created to access or use or surf the internet such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari, Mozilla, etc.

A web page is like a blank paper in the beginning. Webpages are created through HTML (Hypertext markup language). You can create web pages manually by writing HTML code or by using online web applications or web page builders.

HTML was the 1st method to create websites. These days, there are various ways to create a website. The technique to create a website depends on the type of website or the goals of the website. HTML help to create links between websites, text, images, videos, and web pages.

There are various elements used to create and run a website such as HTML for link building and to display content, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to design webpages, fonts, styles, structure, and responsiveness of the website, templates, sliders, menus, header, footer and many other. It varies based on the website goals, website building method or technology, and creator.

2. Business explanation of the website:

From a business point of view, a website is an online communication channel between you, your business, and your target customers. On the website, you can showcase your products and services in engaging and customer-centric ways through images, text, video, animation, and infographics.

Once the website is created it is promoted through search engines such as Google, Bing to get organic traffic. It is also promoted through Pay Per Click or online advertising, it is promoted on social media and almost all the places online and offline where people can see it. So for business owners or sellers, a website is an online opportunity to sell online or increase sales.

In simplest words, the website is a shop.

3. Marketing and adverting point of view:

For an advertiser or marketer, a website is a landing page where they will send or get visitors after advertising or sharing or promoting website links on various social media and organic traffic platforms. get contact details or product/service queries of the clients or customers.

4. Financial explanation of the website:

From a financial point of view, A website is a great and one of the best methods to earn and make money online. You can make money by selling your own products website, you can earn money by selling other products (affiliate marketing), you can make money by monetizing the website through display advertising and you can make money by promoting other brands through sponsored links.

So, the website is a great tool for the economic growth of the country and individually.

5. Some other points of view about what is a website:

In general point of view, a website is a method to get information, data, and knowledge about various things such as education, entertainment, shopping, services, and products.

For jobseekers or freelancers, a website is a digital resume or online resume or portfolio website that they share and present publicly or privately to the company, manager, and hiring agencies.

For writers, A website is a digital book or dynamic book in which they share their points of view publicly through articles or blog posts.

A website is a part-time business or income method for many people doing 9 to 5 jobs.

A website is also a great method to publish and share various types of local, national, and international news in Hindi or English. Those who are doing journalism degrees or courses are creating and running news websites.

There are millions or billions of websites on the web. Each one-use website as per knowledge, expertise, resources, and creativity. Someone created google.com to let people can search for information on the web, someone created to let others can build their own websites, and someone created it to let other people will get knowledge.
