Whether you want to build a new business website in WordPress or want to manage and customize your existing website, learning WordPress on your own is a very cost-effective and flexible solution without the need to hire a WordPress designer and developer.

Learning WordPress requires a range of topics, but those are more relevant for developers and designers. As a small business owner, you need specific solutions and topics related to your website and business. I will teach you all of that in this course. Throughout this course, I will guide you on how to build, manage, and optimize your website effectively.

But before we discuss course content in detail, let us first understand the benefits of learning WordPress for you as a business owner.

Benefits of Learning WordPress for small business owners

Business success

Learning WordPress helps small business owners daily to address various opportunities, challenges and problems related to their business websites. Here are the top 3 benefits of learning WordPress.

1. Quick Updates and Customization

Manage and update your website whenever you want. Learning WordPress provides you with the control to manage your website. You can make updates, customize, and add new content anytime and anywhere.

You don’t have to call WordPress agencies or hire WordPress freelancers. The process of updating the website will become faster, and you know how important speed is in business.

2. Save Time and Money

If you have a limited budget for your business, learning WordPress allows you to create and manage your business on your own. Otherwise, you may have to pay $5 to $50 per hour if you hire a WordPress developer. The money that you save can be invested in advertising your business and website online.

I have observed that, for example, many beginners or aspiring entrepreneurs start a travel agency business. The first thing they do is create a website. Not everyone has budgets in the thousands of dollars, but whatever budget they have, they end up spending on building a website. They invest in costly and premium themes, hire a WordPress developer, and invest their time in managing the web developer or instructing them. But not able to spend on advertising and marketing.

That’s why I’ve created this course—to guide and train small business owners and website operators in implementing the right strategy for building and promoting their businesses, especially those with limited budgets.

3. Short-Term Investment, Long-Term Gains

Investing time and money in learning WordPress offers long-term benefits. As you have seen, many small business websites fail because the business owner solely relies on WordPress or an SEO agency for the success of their business and website traffic.

Business owners from non-technical backgrounds often lack knowledge about SEO, its workings, and best practices, leading them to continually invest in agencies for their services. This reliance on others for success leaves them in the dark about what is happening.

However, if you learn the basics of WordPress, you can be aware of the changes made to your website, and the strategies implemented by agencies, and have a better understanding of the overall process.

Moreover, you’re not just building a website for the sake of having one; you’re building it for business growth, a strong online presence, increased traffic, and better conversions—all continuously. Without incurring additional costs or paying agencies monthly or hourly, you can harness the benefits of technology for your business. That’s why learning WordPress is crucial, and it’s the reason I’ve created this course.

Is it enough?

All of these are basic and essential options used in almost all websites created with WordPress. But it can vary less and more based on your specific needs. I will teach you each of these options tailored to your specific website needs.

For instance, if you’re building a travel agency website, I’ll guide you through everything required for a successful travel agency site. Similarly, if you want to start a blog in any niche, I’ll provide the necessary instruction and assistance in setting it up.

This personalized approach is a unique option; you won’t find such online WordPress courses elsewhere. Generic online WordPress courses lack the personalization and specific features needed by small business owners to create their websites. While they’re suitable for general knowledge, building a successful business or website requires guidance and training to capture and utilize opportunities for business, income, and growth on the web promptly and most importantly fast.

How I will teach you WordPress?

The method of learning depends on your preference; I am adaptable to various approaches. Typically, I allocate one hour each day according to a set schedule to instruct you on all aspects. However, this can be further customized. For instance, if you’re building a new website from scratch, I will guide you through everything needed for the process.

Another option is that you can contact me whenever you encounter a problem for assistance. The course content is customizable, allowing you to choose any option or share your doubts and problems. I will then provide instruction, training, and assistance tailored to your needs. Hourly, weekly, and monthly options are available as well.

Training Process

We will connect through video calls using video conferencing apps such as Zoom and Google Meet. Additionally, we will stay in touch through Skype or any other chat apps. All teaching will be conducted through video calls and screen sharing. Optionally, I will also supplement the sessions by creating specific video tutorials for you or your team, allowing you to follow the process independently. Any other ideas are also welcome, based on your comfort and preferences.

But all of these, including the WordPress course syllabus, also depend on your current WordPress knowledge. Even if you’re not familiar with the basics of computers and the internet, I will teach you that as well. For this, you can join my all-in-one online basic computer course training.

How much does it cost?

What is the investment required for this course? It will be less than the development fees and will be based on your specific needs and course content. The fees can be hourly, monthly, or project-based, ranging from $10 per hour, $100 per month, or as per the project, with rates from $50 to $500.

After completing this WordPress training course, you will receive continuous support through my YouTube channel, access to the blog with premium content tailored to your needs, and further guidance. If you ever encounter challenges during the project, feel free to contact me. I will assist you in moving from challenges to solutions.
